First year students who are unable to make it to campus for 2021W term 1 and are hoping to have their 2021W term 1 STT converted to online courses, must submit this form by August 30, 2021 . If a student is enrolled in a first year English course and humanities elective in 2021W term 1, it is the student's responsibility to check to see if there is an online section of this course. If there is no online section nor wait list for an online section, the student may need to find a different course to satisfy this requirement or consider registering for the course when they are in person on campus in 2021W term 2.
BASc students who are in year 2 need to connect with their program advisors if they think they may not be able to make it to campus for 2021W term 1.

- I declare that due to COVID-19, I am unable to make it to the University of British Columbia, Vancouver Campus for the beginning of the 2021W Term 1 session. I therefore give permission to Engineering Academic Services to adjust my timetable to change my registration to online sections. I acknowledge that this may require that I take some courses during Summer 2022 or at another time due to limited seat availability. I accept that if my courses are changed to online, I will no longer be able to change my courses back to in person classes due to limited seat availability even if I am present on campus during 2021W term 1. I understand that there is no guarantee that I will be moved into online courses.
