Congratulations on your admission to UBC Applied Science – EAS is so excited to have you join us at UBC Engineering in the fall! As a new student at UBC, there are many things to learn before you start your studies in September. The process of registering for courses can bring about a lot of questions: How do I register? What courses do I take? What is Workday? How do I use my transfer/advanced credits? All these questions (and more!) will be answered in our registration workshops.
First Year Registration Workshops: Learn about the First Year Program, First Year Engineering timetable, humanities courses, first year English courses, how to register and make a saved schedule, and more!
Transfer Student Registration Workshops: These registration workshops are tailored to our Transfer Students. Learn about how to register for your year level, and how to find and apply your transfer credits.
Advanced Credit Workshop: This workshop is for students who are coming to UBC with AP, IB, or A-Level credits. Learn about how to get your advanced credits assessed, where to find them on Workday, and how to apply them to the First Year Program.
Missed a session? Slides and notes will be posted next to the relevant sessions below, 2-3 days after the event has finished.
