As an engineering student you have a dedicated team of professionals to support you along your journey. Our Departments, Programs, and Engineering Academic Services (EAS) team are able to assist you with academic advising, course selection, registration, transfer credits, and much more.

Not sure if you need to see an Engineering Academic Advisor?
Visit our Engineering FAQ page to learn more about how to get the information you need, when you need it

Prior to booking an academic advising appointment we recommend:

  • Review the UBC Academic Calendar – The Academic Calendar is a comprehensive guide to all programs, courses, services, and academic policies at UBC
  • Search this website – We expect you to have done some research and preparation before visiting our offices. Resourcefulness is an important skill to develop and hone during your university years!

Book an Academic Advising Appointment

Students can book an advising appointment (virtual or in-person) with EAS online through the PD Portal. Upper-year students (years 2 to 5) requiring assistance with questions regarding technical electives and/or program specific requirements should contact their Faculty Advisor.

How do I book an appointment?
Log in to PD Portal > Academic Services – Vancouver (Blue Bar) > Appointments with EAS > Book an Appointment by Type/Provider

Students will receive further instructions by email after booking an appointment through the PD Portal.

Students wanting answers to quick questions or short drop in advising can use our Virtual “Quick Questions” Drop In sessions.
