Once a student obtains approval to take a Standing Deferred (SD) exam, it is expected that they will sit the exam during the official SD Exam Period in either July/August or November (see the Standing Deferred webpage for exact dates).
However, some departments offer alternative opportunities to sit SD exams. A complete list of exceptions can be found on the Standing Deferred webpage, and below you can find some specific exceptions that are particularly relevant to students in the Engineering program:
Science courses (including CHEM 121, 154 & PHYS 157, 170)
