Your final exam schedule will be available in mid-October for Winter Term 1, and in mid-February for Winter Term 2. You can find your final exam schedule on Workday.
Exam Hardship
Final exam hardship occurs when you’ve been scheduled to write three or more final exams within 24 hours (e.g., from 8:00 a.m. to 7:59 a.m. the following day).
What to do
In the case of exam hardship, the student will be given a new examination date and time for the second examination. This new examination must be arranged by the student and instructor or department/faculty. It is the student’s responsibility to notify the instructor of the second examination no later than 1 month prior to the examination date.
Exam Clash
An examination clash is when a student has multiple formal examinations scheduled on the same day and at the same time, or where the allotted times for scheduled formal examinations overlap.
What to do
In these cases, alternate arrangements should be made as soon as possible. The student should first contact his or her instructor(s) to determine if an alternate time to write the exam is available; if the instructor(s) is unable to resolve the examination clash, then the department head or dean/director is to be consulted.
